a fitting end

We’re almost back on track in my house. I’m feeling practically normal, my son’s written half of his first of three book reports for the summer – yay! – and all the post-Comicon edges are smoothing themselves out.

And then, this morning, I find out we have bats.

My friends are always joking that I live in a cave – it’s a first floor apartment that we’re in so it’s got high ceilings, but no light. It’s dark and cool and full of shadows.

And now, it’s not just the cave. It’s the Bat-Cave .

We live in the frickin’ Bat Cave.
